GRAND LAC CHALET (Long term monthly/seasonal or short term)

Newly renovated in 2019, Chalet Grand Lac is a 3000 sq ft lakefront home with 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, directly on the water.    The chalet has an exterior SPA in a solarium, and a pool table/ping pong table in a games room.  Extra large king bedroom suite with private balcony with lake views.  The house sleeps up to 14 people.   

 

Great views of the lake, bright and sunny south orientation, small sand beach, large play structure, long dock and 3 kayaks and canoe included in the rental.  Grand Lac chalet is located on 2 very large lakes that communicate, over 8 km of beautiful waters to explore with kayaks or canoe (included).   

 

The chalet is on a private road, with flat land, and has easy access to all amenities 10 minutes away (groceries, dining, shopping, entertainment).   

 

10 minutes to Ste Agathe des Monts, 17 minutes to Mont Blanc for skiing in the winter, 30 minutes to Mont Tremblant, 1 hour 10 minutes to Montreal.  

 

Grand Lac chalet was custom built with group rentals in mind.

MAIN LEVEL (all interior renovated 2019)

  • Hot Tub in a south/west facing private solarium located right off living area.  The sun in the winter can heat the solarium up to 15-20 degrees above the outside temperature, and no wind too!   In the summer, the full screens assure a great breeze.   

 

  • Living Room with gas burning fireplace and 50" flat screen TV (with Netflix).  Living room includes one sofa bed.

 

  • Kitchen with 4' x 6' large island that seats 4, dishwasher. all open concept overlooking living room and lakeview.

 

  • Dining Room with Farmhouse table that can seat up to 10 people, with patio door to deck and lake

  • Full Bathroom on the main level with tub/shower combination.​

UPPER LEVEL #1

 

  • 2 Queen bedrooms - one larger with french doors.   The second is a small Queen bedroom

  • Grand Master Bedroom Suite - this was an addition onto the house, accessed via it's own set of stairs, separate from all other areas of the house.   The bedroom suite is almost 600 sq feet by itself.   

  • Master suite Includes a king bed, 9 foot patio with balcony overlooking lake, 9 foot ceilings, ensuite with double jacuzzi tub with lakeview and double shower, and a large walk in closet.

  • Lower level is only 1/2 underground, it has big windows and is bright

EXTERIOR

  • 2 very large lakes to explore with lots of inlets, protected areas as well as open waters.  Can easily spend all day exploring the lakes and not see it all.  

  • Excellent fishing for a Laurentian lake.   There is Northern PIke, big mouth bass, small mouth bass, Trout, Perch as well as other species.  Very easy to catch smaller fish right off the dock with kids (you can often catch one right after the other!), and the island across from us is where the Northern Pike like to hang out.   Winter Ice fishing is possible if you have the equipment.
